BPositive (bpositive.org.in) is operated by Vijay Kumar Ved, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you book a home sample collection, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.
Information we collect
- Booking details: your name and mobile number, and for each person being tested their name, age and gender.
- Address: the collection address and pincode, and — only if you choose to use the map — the location pin you set.
- Preferences: the health check chosen, the date and time slot, and the language for your Smart Report.
- Health information: the samples collected and the test results produced from them.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive a payment reference and status; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
How we use it
- To schedule and carry out your home sample collection.
- To have your samples tested and to prepare and deliver your reports.
- To contact you about your booking, payment and reports by phone, SMS or WhatsApp.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health information for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Partner laboratories (NABL-accredited) that test your samples.
- Our collection staff, who need your name, address and contact number to visit you.
- Service providers that help us operate: Razorpay (payments), our WhatsApp messaging provider, and our hosting provider — each only as needed for their service.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Address search on our booking page is sent through our own server to an OpenStreetMap-based service, so your device's IP address is not shared with that service.
How we protect it
Your information is stored on secured servers with access limited to people who need it. Reports are only shared through links that require authorisation or expire after a short time.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and report records for as long as needed to provide the service and as required by law for medical and financial records, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by writing to techsupport@bpositive.org.in. Some records may need to be kept where the law requires it.
Children
Bookings for a person under 18 must be made by a parent or guardian.
